  1. ***GAWKBINpr is GNU awk (gawk) release 2.13.2 from the Free Software
  2. Foundation (an included text file has the name Michal Jaegermann
  3. attached to it).  This is a pattern scanning and processing language.
  4. As the docs say:  " Gawk is the GNU Project's implementation of the AWK
  5. programming language.  It conforms to the definition of the language in
  6. the POSIX P1003.2 Command Language And Utilities Standard (draft 11).
  7. This version in turn is based on the description in The AWK Programming
  8. Language, by Aho, Ker- nighan, and Weinberger, with the additional
  9. features defined in the System V Release 4 version of UNIX awk.  Gawk
  10. also provides some GNU-specific extensions."  This archive contains only
  11. Atari executables of gawk 2.13.2, compiled with gcc 1.40, some test/
  12. examples programs and a basic documentation.
